Hi! My name is Amelia Lamont, and I am currently a first-year student at Syracuse University in both the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, working towards a B.A. in Political Science, and the Newhouse School of Public Communications, working towards a B.S. in Journalism
I am from outside Boston, MA, where I have lived for most of my life. I am an avid writer and reader, which led me to pursue journalism in college.
I have always been fascinated by politics, specifically within the United States. As our political landscape continues to get more complicated, I believe it is important to keep citizens informed, and one of the best ways to do that is through good reporting.
